Busy, Francesca, Crumble and Flake
My sweet friend Francesca and I had a pastry date at Crumble and Flake Patisserie. These were my three new foods for the week: ginger currant scone (very good), pistachio croissant (excellent), and kouign amann (pronounced queen aman) (simply great). Afterwards, I went back to pick up a pistachio croissant for HH, but they had sold out, so I bought him a fig and olive tapenade roll, which he deemed "interesting."
