fridays with oscar
this is one week i am happy to put behind me. i’ve been nursing a cold since sunday that i can’t seem to shake. to add to my list of ailments i took a nasty spill in the wee hours of the morning that i’m calling an accidental injury. it was 5:30 am and i was quickly taking oscar out for his morning ritual. in the darkness i completely missed the last step to our stoop and tumbled the rest of the way to the ground, skidding to a stop in the middle of the sidewalk. the damage could have been far worse than it ended up so i’m counting my blessings. my hand and knee took the brunt of the fall, along...
