Covid: Round Two
I'd been at my desk for all of 45 minutes on Tuesday morning when I had to dash out and collect F from his Dad's. He had just tested positive for Covid after waking up feeling too ill to go to school. F couldn't stay at his Dad's all day as he himself was due to be admitted to hospital on Wednesday morning for an operation. Cue two days working from home with "Muuuuuum, I'm hungry, can I have food / drink / calpol / watch TV / I'm boooooored" etc. Working from home whilst the schools were shut was a flashback I didn't ever want to repeat, thankfully I'll be back in the office on Friday and he'll be back at school!
