Lions and Tigers and Earthquakes. OH MY
Yesterday we had not one, but TWO earthquakes. I've lived in Northern California for twenty one years. We moved here in 1990 after the seriously huge 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Loma Prieta was a 6.9 magnitude quake. The first one that hit yesterday was 4.2 and the second was 3.9. They were the biggest I've felt since I've lived here. It was so scary. I can't even imagine how the big one in 1989 must have felt. Holy cow. All is well here though. Nobody got hurt. But facebook blew up with all of us checking in on each other and talking about how frightening the quakes were. Man, what a day. And to top it all off?
