I snagged this vest on sale, but I still paid almost $100 for it. I know . The thing is, I have a feeling this is going to be the new “IT” vest of the season. J. Crew’s excursion vests are pretty popular, and in years past I waited for a good sale on the houndstooth version and they sold out. So this year I splurged. But in my defense, it’s gingham and adorable. And I’m already thinking up multiple ways to wear it so I make sure I get my money’s worth. I definitely see some pattern mixing in its future.
