Oh So Preppy!
Pictures by Inès Monnet I am not really into the preppy look but I couldn't pass over these La Redoute pieces . Their design carries retro notes yet remains edgy. Take as examples the A-line buttoned-up skirt in vivid blue and shirt from the Coralie Marabelle collaboration collection. Both have cuts that were quite popular back in the sixties/seventies. Yet, the designer included a je-ne-sais-quoi twist that modernizes the look. I styled these two pieces with black leather details. Pay attention to the ankle boots and jacket – they are so comfortable and warm for chilly days. I suspect they will be my dependable...
