Day Trip
Day trips are so hard, clothing wise. I have to wear something that won't look like crap after sitting on a plane for an hour or two, and that will look professional enough for my meetings/presentations when I arrive. It has to last all day - nothing that stretches out or gets messy throughout the day. And it has to be comfortable - really, really comfortable. This outfit is full of Christmas gifts - well, the sweater and the pants at least. I hadn't done slacks with booties before like this, and I really loved it for my day trip down to Bend, OR. My feet were warm on the plane, and I was able to wear a perfectly-matching sweater, which I kind of loved in this case....
