Velvet & Fur
Sometimes there are pieces in your closet that are just meant to go together. I love layering with vests in the winter - whether it's over a blazer (as seen here ) or under a coat (like this ). It's a great way to create more visual interest, plus it provides an added layer of warmth. My favorite faux fur vest fit so perfectly over this wool moto jacket that it almost appears to be one piece. Thanks to the snaps on the shoulders, I was able to secure the vest underneath the epaulets for an even more cohesive look.
