At home he feels like a tourist
Well they do say if you can't beat them, join them - and that's exactly what we did when (because of slight oversight on my behalf, oops) we found ourselves in Westminster at 11am on Sunday with nothing to do. We visited the Abbey, tried to make the horse guards giggle, then strolled down the Southbank where they are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain. All in all it was lovely, although our annoyance at slow walking people did reach severe levels, but that comes with the territory, surely? And don't even get us started about the weather, gale force winds do not happy hair maketh. Thank goodness I was wearing a maxi dress!And on that note,...
