Especially while I was high school & college, if jeans didn't have a distressed element or some knee rips then I would take some scissors to them and give 'em a little update. Once I was out of school and I landed my very first job, I quickly realized that though I loved my distressed and edgy denim, they would have to be saved for the weekends.
