Giving Thanks
Patrick and I had a pretty low key Thanksgiving for our first Thanksgiving as Californians. While we were invited to my sister’s, I just wasn’t feeling up to it, as I can’t seem to live without a buffet of tea, Gatorade, Jumba Juice, cough drops and of course medicine. I made a pot roast (I’ve never been a fan of turkey) and Patrick made pumpkin cornbread stuffing, along with several other side dishes, but he was quite proud of his stuffing. Despite still feeling crummy, we still had a delicious dinner and a nice day at home.
