What I Wore: Blue Linen Shirt, Any Time of The Year
My clothes have to serve for a climate that ranges from warm, to very warm, to blazing hot, and then mildly cool. I have had to wean myself from buying big cozy sweaters and fleece leggings , even though I love that look. Some versatile pieces do work perfectly for ten months of the year in Florida ( nothing feels good in August and September except nudity and iced tea). The magic pieces include: denim and cotton skirts; knit dresses that can be easily layered; long-sleeve but lightweight knit tops; and button-down shirts.
