Exploring the deserts of West Texas, we came across the towns of Shafter and Presidio. Shafter is a true ghost town, and felt like a place you might actually encounter a ghost. Shafter and the cacti-studded plains of Presidio made a very fun backdrop for this vintage sweater coat I’ve been wanting to shoot. It’s such a fun piece! I love how it’s abstract print mimics the flowing shapes of the cacti. We were pelted with rain while shooting this coat, which sounds miserable, but was actually insanely fun. How often will I get to run through the desert in the rain? This coat has some very special memories attached to it now!...
