The big chill
I think the chances of another 80° day this October are slim, now that this cold snap has hit, and every weather forecaster rejoiced when they got it right for once. At least it hadn't gotten cold yet this past Thursday when I was having the most miserable time in New York. I'd been invited to an event at the Anthropologie show room to preview the BHLDN spring line. The evening promised drinks, hors d'eouvres, a photobooth and hair stylists from Dry Bar. Overall, it sounded like it would be a really fun event. All day long on Thursday it down poured and I was thinking I might just skip it and stay cozy and dry at home, but then the rain let up, I checked the train...
