That means as low a price as possible, a classic piece, good quality, and the ability to wear it multiple ways. With dresses sometimes that can be difficult. There is always the possibility of wearing a dress as a top with a skirt over it, as a skirt with a top over it, and as a dress, but that only works with some dresses. I like to pay more attention to the dress itself and see if I can switch it...
