Stripey Skirt, Lazy Skirt
Top: Thrifted Skirt: Self made Tights: Winners Booties: Nine West I had started this skirt a while ago and then finally got around to putting on the waistband and doing the hem this weekend. The gorgeous weather was all the incentive I needed to get it done so I could enjoy it! The skirt is a "lazy" pattern where I just cut two pieces the width of the fabric to the desired length, make a seam at the center back and insert a zipper, gathering the skirt into the waistband measuring slightly larger than my waist for an overlap hook and bar closure above the waistband. Easy peasy. Sadly the dusk lighting doesn't show off the amazing detailing...
