2nd Annual Commemorative Air Force Dance
This weekend Sean and I attended our city's second annual Commemorative Airforce Hangar Dance to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the airport and honor aviation around the time of WWII. They showcase amazing planes at the event and we got to tour this one (which I cannot remember the name of sadly... D-W3? ). Eleanor Roosevelt had ridden this plane at one time and we got to see where she sat and tour the cockpit. It was pretty interesting. We also got to take a little swing dancing lesson prior to the dance beginning and we learned a few turns so we could really dance when the band started! That was my favorite part of course.
