Everybody, Everywear: Nautical
Though I don’t have a lot in my closet that screams “nautical,” I was totally game for today’s Everybody, Everywear challenge. My first instinct was to grab all things navy, red, and/or striped from my closet, but in the end, my outfit ended up mostly being inspired by this necklace.
If you take a closer look, it has little starfish and seashell charms intertwined on the chains. It’s tangled, asymmetrical look always has reminded me of a fisherman’s catch. This $1 garage sale find seemed to be the perfect launching point for my nautical outfit!
Lots of turquoise also seemed appropriate, since it is such a beautiful ocean-like color....
