Dressing for late summer days
As predicted, as soon as the kids go back to school, the persistent rain leaves,. the clouds part and the sun comes out. Its not super warm in the mornings,it's actually quite chilly, but by the afternoon the day has heated up and it can be quite hot. So what to wear in this tricky weather? Good question. Honestly? I'm stumped most mornings, so my go-to formula seems to have been a maxi dress and cardigan or light jacket. Simple and easy, and as they day goes on i will shed the light layer and then re-instate it in the chill of the evening.
