Ranniston knots and the unexpected fish-pedicure!
I thought I'd finish off this post before going on with Croatia. As mentioned in my Geo-caching post recently, CBC and I headed up to Northumberland with his brother to see WOMOTM and to enjoy the beauty of that fair county. We've been particularly unlucky the last couple of years in the weather-stakes so have missed many opportunities to take a Lake District walk with WOMOTM who is an ardent fell-walker so when the weather-forecast predicted an auspicious day- sunshine in the Lakes, we headed over to Crumuck water direction to climb a small and gentle fell called Ranniston knots which is famous for its blue-bells in the Spring.
