This week Stew and I managed to make the most of our one morning off together by walking to Newtown and enjoying brunch at Brewtown Newtown . This cute coffee shop/cafe, located just off the main street running through Newtown, is a little gem. A couple of people had recommended them to us for brunch/lunch and after reading the rave reviews on Urbanspoon we couldn't say no.
I opted for their belgian waffle with orange ricotta, stewed fruits and caramelised figs. It was so good! The orange ricotta gave it the perfect sweet/sour balance so that it wasn't too sweet and sickly. And Stew chose the grilled black sausage, home made hashbrowns,...
