Its where they keep all their exciting new and old pieces and sample sale wonders- I presume, I never actually asked, but they have lots of old stock down there so I assume thats what its there for. Personally I just wanted to dive in and absorb it all. I named it the dungeon, as Motel is kind of a sacred place, not unlike Hogwarts, and underneath...
