This Just In: Mia Likes Parties, Smart People
Well! I wasn’t wrong when I said I’d have a good time at The Toast’s one-year anniversary party on Wednesday evening, and by the looks of things, most everyone else did too.
I dressed up a little in one of my new pieces of clothing from Vienna, and at the party, I added a fancy hat and quite a lot of sweat ! The latter was unintentional, but when you pack a great number of enthusiastic people into a bar, these things are bound to happen.
I met so many great readers, commenters, and contributors to the site and made some new friends; I’ve only contributed one piece to The Toast so far–my first-ever paid work of...
