optimus alive 2014 part one
So I went to Portugal for a few days last week to go to Optimus Alive to report for Bank Fashion . I have to admit this was one of my favourite trips of the summer even though I didnt think the festival was that strong of a line up. Maybe it just wasn't my taste but I only REALLY wanted to see three bands and one pulled out and the other is my favourite band ever. So swings and roundabouts. We saw MGMT who are possible the most boring band I've ever seen live. I really do like their music and I think with their second album they finally sound like what MGMT "wanted" to sound like... their show is just blah. A little enthusiasm wouldn't go a miss....
