Champagne Toast
Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. Well, actually today because I am typing this post on Tuesday. So, I am going to make this super quick because, hello, we are still celebrating. Our youngest had a slumber party and our oldest hung with her friends in the neighborhood, so that meant Mom and Dad got to embrace a quite and speedy rendezvous in downtown Austin. Typically we send the kids off to "grandparent camp" during the week of our anniversary, but since my mom had surgery, that wasn't in the cards this year. We still enjoyed ourselves just like we do every July 8th with food, wine, uninterrupted conversation and plenty of laughs. Next year will be a milestone...
