Lately I've been in a happy daze of reading and working and a little bit of socialization. My reading addiction was intense when I was younger, but in more recent years I go through dry spells where I can't find new novels that hold my attention as intensely as I like--books that make me laugh out loud and go breathless with excitement and press the pages to my chest for a moment of respite are what I long for and when I can't find them I'd rather not read.
