Tonight, we had our first birthing class. I was a little concerned about going to one put on by the hospital, since I have read that they often push hospital protocol down your throat, but nothing could have been further from the truth. It was very informative, and the nurse directing the class really encouraged researching alternatives to traditional pain meds. She really knew the labor process inside and out and was aware of new methods for helping mom and baby have a more natural and comfortable delivery. I would...
