This is the first summer we've had to deal with both my husband and I working from home + managing the kids' schedule. It has definitely been a challenge and I find myself often feeling guilty when I have tasks that need to get accomplished but all I really want to do is play with them. What has really helped to create balance, though, is putting together a schedule so they know what to expect and we can carve out both structured reading/learning time and some fun outdoor activities.
