Sled Island!
Last weekend I trekked down to Calgary for the best music festival in Western Canada - Sled Island . Curated this year by none other than KATHLEEN HANNA (Le Tigre, Bikini Kill), I knew this year would NOT be one to miss out on. The perfect mix of garage and punk rock, electronic, local Alberta bands and big name talents like St. Vincent , to say I was impressed by the line up is an understatement. I had THE BEST TIME. Calgary has some amazing music venues! The Legion is, in my opinion, one of the best music venues in the country.
