Day in Detroit
This weekend, Eric and I headed to Detroit to explore for the day. Although I've lived in Michigan my entire life, I really haven't gotten to know the east side of the state very well. To be totally honest, it wasn't my favorite Michigan experience. I know, I know, [insert the boo + hiss here] but I'm definitely a west side gal. I live for the lakeshore. But I super appreciate the character and potential the city has, it's just so different from where I grew up. It feels like two different states entirely!
