Being On A Board
Someday, I want to be on boards; I'd like to be one of those retired executives that spends their days enjoying the things in life I love and serving on four or five boards that each meet quarterly or so during the year. I'll hopefully have an opportunity to serve on one or two non-profit organization boards, one or two corporate boards, and one or two what I call 'for-progress' boards. By for-progress, consider a for-profit organization that also serves a greater purpose and acts in ways, sometimes, that might appear to be more consistent with a traditional non-profit organization.
