Anne Fontaine Boston
When Parisian designer Anne Fontaine opened her first US store sixteen years ago, she selected a Boston location, citing her love of the European, friendly vibe of the city. Now she's opened a new concept boutique at 280 Boylston Street, just steps from the old shop. It's all the classic white shirts for which Ms. Fontaine is famous, plus much, much more. Take, for example, her limited edition "couture" line, Les Precieuses , which a includes a perfectly cloud-like silk organza sleeveless top, an embroidered mesh and sequin collar ( hand made in Italy ), and a black, open tunic in re-embroidered taffeta....
