I'm so thankful to my mom for instilling in me a love for thrift shopping. I rarely watched cartoons as a little girl - I was obsessed with old musicals (Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers were my favorites). Because of this, I loved playing dress up & recreating scenes from their movies. So, on special weekends, my mom would take me to thrifting & let me buy a vintage dress or two for my collection.
