Blazer Bafflement
Oooooh blazers. I can absolutely understand the styling wonders of a blazer as a completer piece. But boy oh boy do they leave me baffled and bewildered. Here's what I've been learning about blazers and how I can style them for me. I cannot simply throw on a blazer with any outfit and have *boom* perfection. See here . Blazers and button-downs together are good. See here . A blazer over an unstructured outfit is not flattering on me. See here . Ankle pants and skinny pants with a blazer is better for me than with wide-leg trouser pants. See here vs. here . Blazers and wide vertical stripes are probably not a good idea for me.
