Let's Run Away To Portland
Portland, Oregon has hovered at the top of my list of American cities to visit for as long as I can remember. Long had I heard about the vintage, culinary, and craft beer scenes, as well as the city's propensity for quirky night life and emphasis on buying local. A mecca for hippies and hipsters alike, a liberal voting oasis where good coffee and good beer are held in the highest regard. Any expectations I had for PDX were completely exceeded. I had an AMAZING time. Every single meal I had titillated my tastebuds, the ingredients all local, organic, and made in house. Every beer I had was DIRT cheap and came from a craft brewery, with several bars and restaurants only...
