Girlie Girl
This will probably seem counterintuitive, especially given my style, but I never was and never have been a girlie girl. When I was little, all of my mom's close friends had sons, so I grew up racing toy cars and building blocks with little boys. I didn't have a lot of female friends at school, and spent my late teens (and early twenties) largely hanging around with my brother and whatever unsuspecting classmates he happened to bring along with us. Some of them are still my dear friends.
