I have figured out what it is about New York City that exhausts me.
It’s the pizza {I’m kidding}.
With each visit to the city I am always more and more shocked as to why I feel so tired the first few days. I confess to attributing this to a sad case of jet lag even though the time difference from coast to coast is a mere 3 hour change. But then today, as I sat above Central Park taking it all in, I realized that it isn’t a physically taxing sensitivity, yet an emotionally exhausting place to be.
