Today in the Lunar Calendar, the Chinese ushered in a new year. It is a huge celebration for the Chinese and the most common outfit is a Cheongsum for the ladies. Cheongsum is a traditional dress and even till today, many ladies in China will still wear it on this special occasion. What do we do on this day? Well, we try to look our best and visit our families. The married will give the singles something called red packets (in mandarin it is call Hong Bao), of course I'm still getting it from my parents.
