This past year was the first time I owned a versatile little black dress. The others that have graced my closet with their presence were too formal to remix for a variety of occasions.
Sometimes I struggle with buying “plain” pieces because I feel like they’re not special enough. I’ve had to retrain my thinking that these pieces are basics, and the styling is what makes them fun.
