It's already been a while since the day I eventually decided, after a rather long and extenuating debate, to let the hairdresser chop about twelve inches off my hair. Which to me sounded very much like twelve inches of history. It's strange being so used to live with waist long locks and then suddenly seeing yourself in the mirror with this new shoulder length 'do, in fact I keep doing all those gestures like gathering my hair to loosely side-braid it, only to realize it's not really long enough to be side-braided ... But I'm super happy about my haircut! New length means new fun ways of styling and in some way I noticed that it inspired me to try new...
