Silk, Starlets, and Ceil Chapman
Here is the dress that didn't get away at the MVS. This is the dress I mentioned in my last blog post. I did one last go around at the MVS and I spied a lovely blush colored silk dress with kind of a throw back to the 1930's print. The first thing you do when you see such a beautiful dress is to touch it. Then, my eyes connected to the label a Ceil Chapman, plus plus. Okay, now this must be a $300+ dress. Checking out the tag, $125. Huh? Why is this still here after 1 1/2 days of the vintage fair? Are these people nuts? This is what I love about vintage shows of this caliber there are still hidden gems to be found even at the end. I tried it...
