Burda Sweetheart dress in Milly Sateen
I've been dreaming about making this pattern for months now , just waiting to find the right fabric. As soon as I laid my eyes on this Milly cotton sateen from Emma One Sock , I knew it would be perfect! I adore this dress and the fabric was a dream to work with. Just a nice, good quality, stable woven fabric to sew with. The pattern however, was a little trickier. I made a muslin of the bodice and it seemed to fit with my standard waist grading, even though my fabric had no stretch.
