I've always loved the idea of mixing dressed-up pieces with casual styles. There's something unexpected about the combination that appeals to me and it's a great way to elevate an everyday look. This quilted sweatshirt + boyfriend jean pairing couldn't be more basic...but when topped with a structured blazer & statement coat (finished off with strappy spiked heels), it adds instant polish and sophistication - just the kind of refreshing take on weekend favorites that I was looking for.
