The thing about wearing bright blue shoes is that everywhere you go people unashamedly stare at your feet. And you can't tell if it's because they think it's awesome or weird. My friends talk about how so much of style has to do with confidence, and I believe that's true to a large extent. So if you're like me and still a little self-conscious about something like blue shoes, you've just gotta muster up every ounce of confidence and walk even taller. And then it's all worth it when a woman at Old Navy looks you up and down, stares at your blue shoes, and asks you for style advice. Whew! Thank you, lady, for putting an extra spring in my step. ...
