I woke up to a city blanketed in white with freezing rain continuing to come down. Dallas actually doesn't handle snow or ice very well and there were numerous branches that had fallen overnight and many people were out of power too. Dubbed as the "ice apocalypse", we were fortunate enough to have escaped the worst of the storm and were just able to enjoy a day at home.
