Yesterday I talked about how I miss thrifting, but you know what I miss most about LA? Having friends with whom I can discuss movies and TV shows. Especially now that the holiday season has started and all these big movies are coming out. That may sound weird considering that I’m working at a film school, but none of my co-workers are film buffs in the same way that I am, the way that my friends in LA are. My co-workers don’t get excited about Catching Fire coming out next week, they would never consider using The Avengers to teach a class on writing an ensemble cast (which is what I’m planning to do), and they certainly won’t scream...
