Current Look: Sangria Safari
They say that burgundy/bordeaux/wine is the color for Fall, so I thought I'd infuse some into my usual Fall neutrals. I also forecasted future trends by taking cues from Michael Kors' African safari influenced Spring 2012 collection, which graced runways a few weeks ago. All that khaki and olive green was way too good to wait until Spring to wear. This vest was formerly a jacket, last seen here. I realized that I'd get much more wear out of it as a vest, so I hacked off the sleeves and added some darts, thereby removing all the previous tailoring.
