Teacups and Merriment. The reception was naturally the most demanding aspect on the wedding day, and the one that required the most time and thought. Since we wanted to have it in my parents garden, a marquee was the natural choice. It took us a while to find a company, but when we did they were everything we'd hoped for. They understood our vision for a somewhat non-traditional wedding, gave us all the advice and information we needed to create our ribbon canopy, and generally made life a lot easier for us. We went for a marquee with rounded ends and all natural wooden supports - no nasty metal! We still had our work cut out for us with decoration, but it was a lovely starting...
