Catalina
It's hard to believe, but before this weekend I had never ventured over to Catalina Island (an island that is about an hour boat ride away from the coast of Southern California). One of my best friends celebrated her birthday with a weekend getaway there and we had such a fun time being goofballs all weekend long. The island is so much smaller than I expected, and it definitely feels like you're on a tropical island somewhere.
