Red Ribbon Week
Our school participates in Red Ribbon Week every year. It's a time to highlight saying no to drugs and alcohol for our students. It's also got a bit of fun built in through some dress-up days. Themes included, "Drugs Stink, Wear Pink," "Sock it to Drugs," and "Be Red-dy to Say No to Drugs." There was also a "Team Up Against Drugs" day where you'd wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt, but I wasn't able to participate because I had two parent meetings that day and didn't feel right dressing so casually.
